How To Use It:  Our Tomato and Vegetable Food is simple to use, safe and effective.  Directions may vary based on soil health to produce desired results.  Green Hippo’s Organic Tomato & Vegetable Nutrients may be applied by using any of the following methods:

Soil Application – Can be introduced directly into soil.  Mix at a rate of 6 oz. to 2 gallons of water to cover approximately 100 square feet.  For existing plants, foliar (fine mist) spraying is recommended providing nutrients instantly to plants.

In-line Sprayer – Recommended for larger areas.  Set to 3 oz. or 6 Tbsp. Spray directly on the plants leaves until completely moistened.
Large Sprayer Bottle – Mix 3 oz. to 1 gal. of water.  Spray plant leaves until completely wet.  Will cover 100 sq. ft. of landscape.
For container plants – Add 2 Tbsp. to a 32 oz. spray bottle.  Apply to foliage until damp.  Repeat every 10-15 days.  Or add 1-2 oz. (2-4 tbsp) directly to a container and water in.

New Beds, Seeding, Bulbs or Transplanting – Using a water can, mix 6 oz. to 1 gallon of water to cover approximately 100 square feet.  Apply directly into directly into soil before planting.
