Our Team

Ridge Conlan, Co-Founder, President

After spending many years in television production, Ridge founded and operated Triscenic Production Services from 1987 to 1997. Triscenic specialized in handling the set production services for several major feature film production studios. In conjunction with Curtis Westfall, Ridge is primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations of Green Hippo.

Curtis A. Westfall, Esq., Co-Founder, CEO

After graduating from the University of Southern California, Curtis attended the University of San Diego School of Law, where he received his J.D. in 1986. During law school, Curtis received numerous honors for advocacy, including best oralist, best brief, competition finalist, and served as an officer of USD's Appellate Moot Court Board. He was also an instructor of legal research and writing, and assistant instructor of contract law. Upon graduation, Curtis was asked to join Hill, Farrer & Burrill LLP, Los Angeles third oldest law firm, where he later became a partner. During his tenure at the firm, Curtis gained extensive experience and expertise in advising businesses of all kinds on a variety of matters, including formation, financial analyses, environmental issues, real estate, intellectual property, litigation and alternative dispute resolution. In 1999, Curtis resigned from the partnership and founded Westfall & Associates where he presently remains Principal and Chief Trial Counsel. In 2007, Los Angeles Magazine named Curtis a Super Lawyer, and in 2008 he was named a Corporate Counsel Super Lawyer. In conjunction with Ridge Conlan, Curtis is primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations of Green Hippo.

Richard B. Segal, Executive Vice President Sales Manager

Richard recently joined the Green Hippo team after spending 35 years as a television advertising sales executive (most recently as the Sales Manager for Tribune). In addition to his unparalleled sales skill, Richard brings to Green Hippo his extensive network of contacts and connections, including, but not limited to the ability to secure unmatched rates for television advertising anywhere in the country.

Lisa Porcelli, National Sales Manager

Lisa has over 14 years of consumer products sales experience working for some of the top consumer products companies. Her sales experience includes sales leadership roles at L'Oreal, Playtex, Nestle, Applica and Breville. With multi-trade class experience and senior level selling skills, she brings sales leadership and customer management skills to the Green Hippo team.

Kenneth A. Pittler Co-Founder, Vice President Package Development and Manufacturing

Ken has 20 years of experience in the packaging, manufacturing and distribution industry. He has worked with many high-profile companies including Good Humor Breyers Ice Cream, M&M Mars, Alberto Culver USA, Home Depot and Wal-Mart. Over the years, Ken has helped develop retail (primary packaging and POP display systems) and industrial packaging concepts for many different product categories. His extensive experience in this field will help Green Hippo secure favorable agreements with their supply chain and insure the most effective purchasing programs for raw materials and components. Along with the Green Hippo team, Ken is always looking for environmentally safe and sustainable packaging ideas. Ken's in-depth experience in automation and ergonomics will aid in effective and safe packaging solutions for all of Green Hippo's products. This will be instrumental in impacting the bottom line.

Michael J. Horowitz, CPA, CFO

Michael has practiced as a CPA for more than 35 years, specializing in Small Business Accounting, Business Management and Taxation. Before founding his own practice in 1985, Michael gained valuable experience at a variety of preeminent accounting firms. Michael has also acted as an expert witness in several business dissolution and business liquidation matters.

Lori Conlan, Co-Founder, Corporate Secretary

Lori has been a vital force in the formation and success of Green Hippo Products. Her previous marketing experience has helped spearhead the integration into local 7-Eleven stores. Currently, her efforts are to branch out the Green Hippo products throughout Southern California and, thereafter, nationwide.
