What is the application rate of Nutrimoist? Application rates will vary depending on soil type, plant type and region. Generally the application rate will vary from 2 to 5 pounds per 1,000 square feet for sod to one half pound per 100 square feet for a garden. A general guide for potting soil would be 2 tablespoons to 1 gallon dry potting soil and in landscape applications for trees shrubs and flowers use one-third pound per 15 gallons. How do you clean a Nutrimoist crystals spill? Sweep or vacuum the dry product. Flushing is not recommended in that the product becomes very slippery when wet.
